LA PONCA SCHIOPPETTINO
On the typical Friulian terraced vineyards, all of them organically grown, La Ponca gives life to an elegant collection of wines, prominently white, allowing the territory to manifest itself.
Vinification : Destemming and pressing of the grapes followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Maceration on the skins for about 12 days, then pressing and malolactic fermentation.
Maturation : In new and used French oak barriques for 12 months and then on the lees in stainless steel vats.

Ruby red with violet reflections. |
AROMA:

Hints of berries, blackberry, raspberry with a strong note of spices especially pepper. |
PALATE:
|
Good structure, pleasant warm and with the right tannins. The aftertaste leaves notes of ripe fruit and in the finish the hints of pepper found on the nose reappear. |
FOOD PAIRING:

Excellent with red meats game, medium-aged cheeses. |
