Type: whisky single malt.
Alcohol content: 43,7% Vol.
Appearance: ancient gold, intense amber with bright coppery reflections and a pleasing clarity.
Aroma: notes of candied citrus, pepper, caramel, dried fruit, malt, ginger, and subtle saline nuances harmoniously intertwine. Additionally, intense spicy tones of cloves, plum jam, and hints of cherry liqueur and raisins emerge.
Taste: creamy, soft, and enveloping, faithfully reproducing all the olfactory notes with delightful hints of honey. The finish, decidedly long and clean, brings back distinctive spicy sensations and notes of dried fruit.
From the heart of Silvio Carta distillery in Sardinia emerges the Whisky From Sardinia Single
Malt, distilled twice in a copper still crafted according to Silvio Carta’s specifications in the province of Siena in 1985. The maturation takes place in ultra-centenary barrels made of Sardinian chestnut, exclusively employed for aging Vernaccia di Oristano wine dating back to 1852, imparting a uniqueness to the whisky in the global landscape of distilled beverages.
The distillery enjoys a privileged geographical location, just a few kilometers from the sea, endowing Silvio Carta Whisky with a complex character enriched by salty and subtly marine notes.
