Same grape as Barolo from vineyards grown outside the zone, this Langhe Nebbiolo is a perfect introduction to Barolo. Mostly from the sandy hills situated in the Roero land (Ochetti vineyards) and from few vineyards on the bluish marl of La Morra. It’s always a very soft, fruity and elegant Nebbiolo.
The Historical label “the soldier” was conceived by Renato Ratti to remember the deeds of the Piemontese regiments in the defense of the Langhe. This specific one is the historical uniform from the area of origin of this wine: “Centuria Cacciatori di Canale – 1795”
