FREDERIC COSSARD PULIGNY MONTRACHET BLANC 1ER CRU LES FOLATIERES
The origin of the name "Les Folatières" is debated, possibly deriving from "Folles Terres" (landslides from heavy rain) or "follets" (misty figures in damp areas). Regardless, Les Folatières is one of the finest Premier Crus of Puligny-Montrachet.
This Puligny-Montrachet, made from grapes from very old vines and sourced from growers with strict standards, is naturally vinified using indigenous yeasts and without added sulfur. It charms with aromas of green apple and citrus, evolving into buttery notes. The palate is round with a hint of oak, making it a must-try natural Burgundy.
