Distilled at the foot of Mount Tsukuba at Yasato distillery, this special Hinomaru release is produced by the Kiuchi brewing and distilling company, previously famed for their popular Hitachino nest beer. This expression was put down to mature in a combination of bourbon, sherry and red wine barrels for an undisclosed length of time, before being bottled at a strength of 48% abv.
