"Sur le Chêne" is an early ripening wine from the extreme south of the Côte de Beaune. The estate's flagship cuvée, it is a tender, juicy wine that can be enjoyed young.
Vinified without sulphur to respect the expressiveness of the terroir, our Maranges offers its usual range of red fruits on the nose, led by redcurrant and cherry, with hints of mocha and cocoa. On the palate, it never changes course, offering its straightforwardness of fresh fruit backed by a suave texture.
Well-suited to culinary confrontations, it can be enjoyed young with a piece of butcher's meat.
