DOMAINE SYLVAIN PATAILLE BOURGOGNE ROUGE
Explore Sylvain's artisanal craftsmanship from Marsannay, the gateway to the Côte d'Or, where old vineyards on clay-limestone soils yield natural wines that evoke the soul and captivate the heart. This 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from sustainably farmed vines, undergoes fermentation with native yeasts in fibreglass, followed by 3 weeks of skin contact and extended ageing in old barriques.
Indulge in this wine's juicy, multi-layered elegance, revealing flavours of arctic berries, autumn forest floor, black spices, bramble, and dark plums.

The 2017 Bourgogne soars from the glass with aromas of wild berries, spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent, with powdery tannins and a fleshy core of fruit, it's delicious and charming. What's more, Pataille produced 25,000 bottles. Since some of the vines that go into this blend have been reclassified as Marsannay, the cuvée will shrink in coming vintages. William Kelley
