MARKUS MOLITOR SAARBURGER RAUSCH AUSLESE
Wines by Markus Molitor demonstrate the potential of the Mosel terroir – structure and depth of flavour combined with freshness and elegance. The winery is based at the centre of the Wehlener Klosterberg site and cultivates vineyards in 15 different sites, each of which is unique in its own way – and only a "Molitor terroir" for this reason.
Yielding from Markus Molitor's 4 hectares in the Sarre River Valley, the Saarburger Rausch Auslese has fermented in large wooden barrels by natural yeasts only. The fermentation was followed by a long-term storage on the fine lees resulting in a delicate wine with a well-integrated and elegant palate.
