At 11 years of age, the 2008 Astralis offers a beautifully complex and slightly evolved Syrah perfume that consists of an earthy black fruit core enveloped by an incense of smoky game meat, milk chocolate, coffee, boot leather and earth. With air, a ubiquitous terroir signature perfume fully reveals itself with expressive black olive tapenade, bitumen and gunpowder perfume that adds another dimension. |

Seamlessly structured and creamy like smooth, it offers a multitude of layers that exhibit polish on every level. The extraordinary density of characters on show are all perfectly balanced with an elegant terroir nuance. The resulting full mouth feel is composed of extremely fine natural extract that is magically laced with natural acidity which in turn acts as a hidden counterweighting element to the array of decadent and magnificently powerful yet entirely restrained elements on display. |
